It’s not just about skiing. For the more adventurous, there is a dedicated ski mountaineering route that runs from the Hotel K2 to the Terrazza Montebello. The route can also be tackled using snowshoes or crampons.
The History of Ice Skating
Anyone who visited Foppolo in the 1960s and 1970s will know just how famous ice skating at K2 was. Hockey matches and figure skating competitions were a regular feature, attracting hundreds of spectators.nToday, our guests can once again enjoy the privilege of skating surrounded by the natural amphitheatre formed by Pizzo Del Vescovo and the Foppelle.
