Head to the mountain hut for a high-altitude lunch
One of the most popular hikes is undoubtedly the Terrazza Montebello. It is located about an hour’s walk from our hotel. You can reach it on foot, by jeep, or – during August – by chairlift. Once you’ve reached your destination, you can also continue on to Lake Moro, Lake Trote and, for the more fit... the summit of Corno Stella at 2,620m
Treasures to discover
Along the various trails through our woods, you may spot roe deer, chamois, red deer, squirrels and foxes... and if you keep your eyes peeled, you might even come across a few lovely surprises.
The Western Orobie Trail
Coming from the Tartano Pass, you pass through the Bocchetta dei Lupi and reach the Dordona Pass. From here, you descend towards the village of Foppolo before rejoining the path near the K2 Hotel. Foppolo is a must-visit destination for anyone wishing to undertake this experience.
